Confirmation Prep
Our family Confirmation preparation classes will be held on Tuesdays from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Sessions will take place on 3rd and 10th February, 3rd and 10th March, 28th April, and 5th May 2026. Forms are available for registration. Candidates and parents must commit to attending all sessions.
First Holy Communion 2026
Looking ahead, the next First Reconciliation will be celebrated on Tuesday, 10th March 2026 at 5:00 PM, and the next First Holy Communion will be on Saturday, 9th May 2026 at 11:00 AM. Our upcoming sessions for First Holy Communion and Reconciliation Prep will be held on Sundays from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on 1st and 8th February, 1st and 8th March, and 26th April 2026. Candidates and parents must commit to attending all sessions. Registration forms are available.
Jumble Sale Success
Despite the poor weather on Saturday, 4 October, our Social Group’s jumble sale was a great success — raising an impressive £700! A huge thank you to everyone who helped, donated, and supported the event. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!
Feast of St Margaret Clitherow
I am so delighted with last weekend’s (September 20/21, 2025) Masses in honour of St Margaret Clitherow. My heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make them such a wonderful celebration. 331 (including 97 children) people joined us across the three Masses – what a blessing to our parish community. Congratulations to us all!
First Holy Communion
Our First Holy Communion will take place next Sunday, 12th October 2025 at 12:30pm in St Peter’s Church. We keep in our prayers the 17 candidates who are preparing for this important step in their journey of faith.
Looking ahead, the next First Reconciliation will be celebrated on Tuesday, 10th March 2026 at 5:00pm, and the next First Holy Communion will take place on Saturday, 9th May 2026 at 11:00am.
Support Group and Prayer Group
There are Support Group Meetings on the following Mondays:
13th October, 10th November, and 8th December 2025 at 12 noon.
The Rosary Group will meet on Fridays:
10th October, 7th November, and 6th December 2025 at 6:30pm.
All meetings are at St Peter’s Church Belle Isle.
